All fine, but outdated room

Totally recommend for a couple of nights

Spacious room, comfortable beds, with a great view of the station, and easy access to buses and the subway make for an ideal base to explore the area.

Not a single complaint.

The standard twin room boasted spaciousness and cleanliness, though it felt slightly dated. A highlight was the complimentary pass to the observatory tower—an excellent way to kick off the trip. The proximity to the main transport hub made travel easy, while the food options were impressive, particularly the Singapore noodles in the basement food court. However, the check-in process could use more efficiency, as it felt a bit slow at peak times.

The location was perfect for accessing the train station, and the cozy room made it feel like home. The breakfast options offered a delightful taste of both Western and Japanese cuisine.

we stayed for 3 nights in a large twin room, and it had plenty of space for our family. the hotel is right across from the train station, making it super convenient. we loved the coffee facilities in the room too! having discount tickets for the tower was a nice bonus.

The room was surprisingly spacious for a Japanese hotel, which was a nice change. Loved the big window that let in tons of natural light, and the sliding shoji screens were a cool touch. The kettle and mini fridge made it easy to chill and have a drink whenever. Only downside was the decor felt a bit worn, but honestly, it was pretty comfy overall.

The location was excellent you could find it easily right across the station. Staff was friendly they let us drop our luggage before check-in and even took it to our room when it was ready.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for the value offered.

The dining scene is a feast for the senses! I indulged in some killer katsudon at Katsukura, just a hop away, which made my taste buds dance. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was equally impressive, bringing fresh flavors to my mornings. Plus, the spacious and clean room was a cherry on top, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

great location and helpful staff

Super convenient, right by Kyoto Station. Stayed in a spacious room with tatami mats for 4 adults. Loved the views of the cross roads and a bit of mountains. Toilet's got cool features like heated seats and a deodorizer. Automated bath area was nice. WiFi worked well too.

It was just a decent option for short visits in Kyoto with value for price. The staff provided a step board for my elderly mom, which really helped.
